What you do for your muse
You paint in shades of blue you never knew existed.
Cobalt, cerulean, lapis, turquoise, azure,
indigo and sapphire.
You invent recipes with fresh wild mushrooms.
You create rosemary infused panna cotta and
lavender reductions.
You make oils of cardamom, vetivert and neroli.
You shower his body with fresh dewy flower petals.
You serve him French cheese and honey with
vintage Bordeaux.
You let your hand stray from his chest to his thigh.
Your mouth makes its way to his.
You drink every drop from every place.
You graze the outline of his body with a
subtle fingertip.
You leave a poem as you make your exit.
You are grateful for every moment.
